Well, "quick" was just over 3 hrs. My Lady wasn't amused.

Unless you are good friends with the warden, it's big trouble to take a deer hit by a vehicle around here.

Moose and caribou road kills here are vet checked, butchered and the meat donated to seniors homes and other long term facilities.

Well Gas , Road hits in Nv only get to go home with you if you hit it and you have a hunting license .
Arkansas hit a deer or someone else hits one you call the Sheriff's office if there's a Game an Fish guy available they may or may not drop by and you haul the critter off . I guess there's a lot of folks that hit a lot of deer but you get 2-3 tags with your license when you buy it . You can have 5 and then there's land owners rules that amount to the deer being trespassers and you can shoot trespassers . I don't understand it all yet .

Fyordor , that's a bunch empty cases !
Ask not for patience for you will receive tribulation to teach it .......... I don't recall asking for any such thing . Long short appearently if you drive a truck for a yr or so and don't check the oil it runs out and makes a lot of smokey noise and gets weird dents in the oil pan ..... It would appear that the omission of the tidbit about the function and information on the oil gauge is internal pressure rather than quantity like the gas gauge .
I made a trade for an Explorer a while back , a running when parked deal . It needs a fuel pump it seems . Good fun there it and the fuel filter are inside the fuel tank along with the pressure regulator . Good times only about 80 bolts to get it out . Likely an exaggeration .
Work is easy , the house is coming along .

Yeah, it is illegal to fiddle with it here in Texas. I came home yesterday and this fellow was laying along the highway frontage to my place. The weird thing is it wasn't there when I left and the road is being resurfaced. So, the road is down to a single lane and you must follow a pilot truck. Somehow someone still hit and killed it.GasGuzzler wrote:Unless you are good friends with the warden, it's big trouble to take a deer hit by a vehicle around here.
I had a buck hit on the highway and die blocking my cattleguard last year, I can't find the picture. I took a picture of it and texted the Game Warden, he said to go ahead and move it.
