Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
Loaded up the 45 ACP I shot up the morning my Dad passed away last summer . Bitter sweet . He was so miserable and wasn't ready until he was , he had been convinced that it was coming any day for about 3 years .
Bullets cast from metal he and I scrounged at the recycling place from an H&G #130 . 196 gr .453 SWC .
Powder from the 12# keg of Unique we hunted ducks out of some 35 yr ago . 6.0
Mixed brass mostly RP and FC .
CCI LPP .
Cute little things .
I miss my trays , and my powder measures . I dipped +-.3 gr in an appropriate scoop that was a half grain light of the predicted weight per scoop . No biggie it's more important to be consistent than right . Dips ran 5.8-6.2 gr . Same dip each time in a common pill bottle .
Good grief that's slow to dip , scale , trickle , dump , seat , box and repeat .
Anyway 90 rounds that way .....out of bullets again .

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
I just got through de-priming a couple hundred .357 and .44 mag cases shot through the R92's and have a batch in the (small) ultrasonic cleaner to get cleaning underway. When that's done I'm planning to spend the rest of my rare free time today re-stuffing some ready, prepped brass to begin to replenish the supply.

I haven't loaded anything in a while. It sounds kinda fun. Any suggestions? Oh wait, can't ask for that on the internet.

Had a match on Saturday so another 200 9mm. Loose fit of cases in shell holder means priming on press requires making sure case is aligned with priming punch. Slows things down a bit. Does anyone else turn cases and seat primer twice?

Depends on how the press feels.

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
When I was loading 32 Auto on the turret, I had some problems with the Lee shellholder not completely securing the case, it leaned. Some Googling revealed that so did others. I went ahead an bought a Lyman and RCBS shellholders for that cartridge. Of those two, the RCBS cured the issue. When I moved this cartridge to the Load-Master, the same thing happened. Lee offers three different #4 plates for the LM, not sure offhand which cured it.
Never had a problem with the 9mm Luger shellholder the turret. The bottom line of all this is that you might try another brand of shellholder.

It was the turret I was using. Going to try another shellholder as you have suggested.

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
Well, I looked at some Starline 45 ACP brass. Got the bag out and just looked at them. I decided to not stuff any, I just looked. I have too many handloads waiting to be tested in my 3, 45 ACP guns and actually don't have much room for any new handloads. I got a 30 cal. ammo can full of rounds to try, but it's been raining for a couple months and my "range" is 3 miles up a dirt, muddy road. Oh, the woes of abundance...

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
I can't remember how long ago it was since I loaded any 45 AUTO but I still haven't shot any of the loads I built. I sold an AR15 in 300BLK this weekend I finished in January 2018 ... unfired.
Dang.
