I crossed paths with a Marlin 512 Slugmaster. Looked like an ideal candidate for pressure testing my slug loads sometime this summer.
I have some tools coming from Ballistic Products that should cure some of the problems that I had with my initial work a couple of years ago, I will roll crimp the hulls vs. star crimping and tailor the length of the shell to the component stack (trimming) vs. trying to fill a fixed length hull.
If this works out, I will apply for a couple of public hunts here in South Texas that require slug guns. Not a lot of interest in this area for those hunts as no one has slug guns. Some great nilgai and whitetail country though.
