Finally got my hands around the 9mm 247 and try as I could, it didn't work. I so like the looks of the pistol but my trigger rode on the bottom of the frame and it just wasn't comfortable. Tried several different times and always the same result; it bent my trigger finger down so much it was 'unpleasant'.

Did a fair amount of more looking after that and finally decided upon a Bersa Thunder Pro 9mm UC (Ultra Compact). Nice pistol, Bersa has been getting a bad rap. The new Thunder Pro series are great, especially considering the price. Not saying Tarus is bad, just didn't get along well with my trigger finger.

Merry Christmas to all. Time to go play Santa Claus and fill up the space under the tree.
