Just got myself a Christmas gift for this year... I've been eyeing this thing for a while and my hands were twitching (and hurting) for it...
Amazon has the "Lyman Case Prep Xpress" on sale for under $100.
This tool has 4+ rating, regular price is about $170.
Bagged it!!!

Re: Lyman Case Prep Xpress
I think you will be very happy with a consolidated case prep unit like this. I've had the RCBS unit for several years and consider it indispensable on my bench. Lee make a Case Length Guage holder that has 8/32 threads which will fit the Lyman's unit. Thus you can also do your case trimming on it at the same time the other case prep stuff is done. NICE!

Re: Lyman Case Prep Xpress
I bought myself one for Christmas a few years ago. Initially, I didn't like it just because it seemed huge and took a bit of bench space. I settled that by cleaning up the mess and now wouldn't live without it!

Just Got the Lyman case prep express, from Cabellas, on sale for $99.99, and $5.00 shipping. I also got the Lee 8/32 case lenght holder and adopter. The whole setup works real nice. everything is in one place, and easy to use. The Lee adopter is the cats meow, for triming cases.

I had to epoxy the treaded stock into the Lee adapter as it kept turning out.

I bought one when they first came out to replace my jury jigged brass pipe fitting cutter holder. Actually I bought 2 but the first one is still going strong. Good tip in case it does separate.Ranch Dog wrote:I had to epoxy the treaded stock into the Lee adapter as it kept turning out.
