What do u want to do with your 113 grain. Bullets.? I have made up some mouse toot loads up to those needing a gas check. Best thing is to take an afternoon and get some primed cases and start low with unique at about 3 grains and load and shoot several. Gradually work up to about 10 grains or so and see what you like/need. You will probably learn more doing that and taking it easy .you probably will be getting 14-1500 GPS by the time you are loading6 grains of unique and you may not get to 10 grains before you are happy. 10 grains is pretty stout so you may not need to go that high., always check the fired shell for signs you need to stop, flattened primers, rings around the brass, lower pressure=longer life. Good luck.

I want to use them for short range plinkers. If i am lucky a 50yd target load. Thanks for the starting load. I have read they used to sell short range 100gr-115gr 30-30 ammo. Next week i will get to the range and work on a load thanks for the help.

Most of the bullet manufacturers still offer them, they are "short jacket" 30 caliber bullets usually about 100-grains.Mike 56 wrote:I want to use them for short range plinkers. Re: 30-30 C309-113-F Loads?
Just some of the different sizes of bullets you can throw into a thirty shell and have some fun. The last one was a 357 herret hollow pt. of of the funny ones was a soda straw shot charge. Another small hollow pt was an 85 grain hornady .314 run thru 308 sizer and then thru FCd. Others are 130 gr single shot hornady spire pt for TCs contender. That is why I play with different sizes. Too much fun. Some go toot . Some a little faster.

The straw loads were about 4 gr unique, whatever the lee scoop was 3.8 gr I think. Yuu don't get many bb's in the straw, can experiment see how much works , cheep bird shot. Have used the Speer 38/357 and 44 capsules. Only effective out to 10-15 feet or so. Never tried regular size bb's they might work too. The lead bullets were hornady 90 grain.32 cal I resized and loaded some regular flush and some with hollow base forward. They are a devastating little varmint round.
