Wow, I just ran across this on the Lee website. This should just about close the loop on batch reloading.
I appears that this may be a dedicated priming press built with the APP frame and parts.
That will mean another press on the bench. Oh well, I'm a gadget freak so I will probably be first in line to get one.

I bit on the APP "press", but I think this is way overkill when my hand primer works just fine. I will definitely watch for the youtube videos to see it work though.

My comprehensive skills are sometimes called into question, but "reading between the lines" where they say adding available parts to convert this to an APP press is doable, then the reverse should be an option. Purchase necessary pieces (to ADD) to the APP press to prime cases. I would consider that option.

That statement I definitely would agree with. I already purchased the $100 press that may need a $30 handle upgrade. I'm really starting to wonder why I started down this road. Oh, thats right. All I was going to do on this press was size my PC'd cast bullets.....Then got sucked in.

I bought one to just de-prime brass (I do a lot) and swage crimped primer pockets. I will admit to reaming probably as many crimped pockets as swaging. I usually do not pre-prime brass, I do it as I load but with this machine I might start doing more of that.

I bought a Lee Auto Prime 2 off ebay. I think this will work just fine on this press. If not, I will just put it on my old press.

I like the new stuff but will pass on this as all my priming is done on the press; either Turret or Load-Masters. I both the roller handle for the APP, never put it on. I decided I'm fine with the simple handle.
