People would buy less of their lube so I doubt they will.

I'm pretty sure it is in Lee's Modern Reloading.

I should add that I keep petroleum jelly on the bench, and if I need just a couple of cases lubed, I use a very light application of it.

I still think they need to print this method on the tube. I've never bought a tube of the stuff but I will now. The tubes I have came with their bullet sizing kits. I've been using it like that vaseline - just smear some on with my fingers when I'm doing a few rounds. I also have some Imperial Sizing wax I use the same way.

Anyway, I'm glad I learned this today. I threw the sized cases in my tumbler for a couple hours and they came out nice and clean and the media didn't clog in the case at all. :t

Okay, we need to apply the brakes! It sounds like you are talking about the Lee Bullet Sizing Lube (#90177).

You don't want this stuff near your cases.

This is the Lee Resizing Lube (#90006).

Not to start a run on this stuff, but it seems as though Lee has discontinued it. I opened a support ticket with Lee to find out.

Lee answered: "No, it is out of stock and we are not sure when it will be in due to vendor issues so we have removed it from the website temporarily."

Life is good. There seems to be plenty in stock at the normal sources.

Ooops...

I'm using the resizing lube and NOT the alox. You're right, it's the alox that comes with the bullet sizing kits, but now where did I get the resizing lube? Does it come with any other Lee product? I have a couple of tubes. Maybe I did order some to try at some point in the past. Sure stinks to get old and forgetful.

Thanks for straightening me out and giving us the lowdown on the supply situation. :t

No problem. I think it comes with any of the Rifle Press Kits.

I did get my first tube of Lee Resizing Lube (case lube) when I bought my Hand Press "kit" in early 2012. Been hooked on "the brew" ever since. I do still have one full unopened tube left, so for no more than I have to lube cases it will hopefully last until Lee makes it available again.

Made me remember that I do need to get more LLA pretty soon.

jd

Edit to add … I just got to thinking (dangerous), I did use the Lee case lube for the whole year of 2011 when I forced myself to use nothing but the Lee Classic Loaders to get started. Must have bought it when I ordered the first Lee loaders due to lots of research to begin with. Still good stuff.

I got a tube of the case lube with my LCT. I have one left so I'm not sure what they used to come with. I just used my last LLA bottle to make more BLL. Glad I got some JOS when it was discontinued.

LOL
