Better powder makes all the difference too. I should probably do a post in the cast bullet section about the process. I have done a considerable amount of playing with powder coating ever since I started casting. Originally with harbor freight red and no bbs. Works well enough till humidity gets to the powder then it does not cover as well. Better powder covers much better even without bbs, but is smoother and more even with the bbs.
Better Powder makes a real difference!
I buy the clear from 'Smoke' over at Cast Bullets...Good stuff!

I just love mine in 308... short version... fits nice in the boat, atv, snowmachine, or Lexus. Lol. A very nice entry level,gun... looks like it was made by a Borg collective, but who cares... lol

I am going to change my powder for lead bullets to Reloder 7 and see what I get. I wish had two of these rifles so one could be only for shooting lead bullets. But I will keep doing what I am doing until I get a savage 110 with an accu fit stock. Probably go with 308 again because I like it and the longest distance I am shooting is 400 yards.
