Lee Loader

Fyodor's mention of this in another post caused me to to a search for the discontinued Micro Disk replacement. Low and behold there is an outfit offering one: Custom Cast



I do like the angle on the guide bar that prevents this build up on the original.



Not only are they offering this replacement product but they have blank disks, something that I always thought Lee should offer for custom drops to fit your loads.

That really looks like the way to go to me. It looks like it addresses most of the problems.

I went ahead and gave this fellow some business. I like the improved bar and need another Micro now Mini Disk. The Blanks, well they are just ingenious!

He also has the holder for the Lee lead hardness tester. Pretty cool stuff.

I received the Mini-Disk, an extra bar, and the blank disks today, in hand three days after ordering. The items are as advertised. It is always interesting when someone pitches in to feel a need. Very well done!

I think I might need to add a forum title that deals with all these small business that see a need that is not being filled with by Lee. Just the fact that they can find the need says something in that Lee has just about everything covered.

You have that one guy for the Load Master and this guy for the lead tester and powder measure. There has to be others out there. If you get big enough maybe you can charge for ads on the site and help pay the way.

You never know! Mainly interested in helping them out.

There is the fellow that makes the acrylic insert for the press ram spent primer slot. Need to find the link to it. For those of us that don't ram prime that has to be the winning "improvement" of all as the spent primers seem to drop 99.9999% of the time into the tube reservoir like they are supposed to.

I have found this site to be very refreshing compared to the loadmaster site where the usual cure for everything is to buy this or that from so and so, and much of the talk is negative to Lee. I hope that doesn’t happen here.
