Sizing Die Case Guide

Post by SWBuckeye »

Greeting fellow reloaders and shooters. I am new to reloading but not shooting.I am currently only loading 9mm on a Lee Loadmaster. I did a lot of research (price, function, comments and add on's) on which press to buy before taking the plunge and I still bought the Loadmaster. :D I have been very happy with it so far, execpt with cases not wanting to feed into my sizing die that I run in the #2 position. It will leen just enough to stop the press  and make me use a wood dowel to position it and sometimes put the primer in wrong. I could not find a fix for this problem on line so I came up with my own. When I have a chance I will share phots of it and my reloading bench with everyone.

Also I would like to thank Ranch Dog for hosting this fourm for us bottom feeders of the reloading world. :!:

Welcome to the forum, and it has always been a pleasure to provide a place for like-minded gals and guys to discuss Lee products; both the good and the not so good of them.

Sizing die Case guide

Post by SWBuckeye »

I have been working on a guide for the 9mm cases as they enter the sizing die in the #2 position on a Load Master. Cases would get jammed because of a lean (mostly Winchester cases for some odd reason) not allowing them to enter the die. In the following photos are the before and after with my guide. I have used this to load over 500 rounds now with no issues and has improved the priming reliability also. I hope this helps others with this problem.
