Section a couple of your own cases and measure them. A Dremel type tool makes this a matter of a couple of minutes. A hacksaw and two inch bench vise takes less than five minutes. Measure the brass thickness off the cut edge, at the top, middle, and bottom. Measure the web thickness. Write down the results and do another one. Fill some different cases with water and weigh the water. That will give you capacity measurements. This will leave you with facts, not speculation of other peoples experience, which may differ from yours.
