More Privi Partizan Bullets

Post by Ranch Dog »

I just got my Mini-30 settled in with the Speer #2213 HCSP and went to Grafs to reorder bullets. Durn if Speer hasn't dropped them. I checked in with Privi Partizan and sure enough, they are now offering a 123-grain PSP so I ordered 500 of them from Grafs.

So now, using the PPU bullets in the 30 Carbine, 7.62x39, and 303 British.

I shoot PRVI bullets in the In both my Swedish Mauser and my CG63 target rifles. 139 FMJ BT have outperformed everything so far.

I sure would like to see them make a 125~130-grain .308 flat point. That would serve my 30-30AI very well.

I was a Hornady Interlock fan, and they slowly went away so I went to the Speer Hot-Cor, and it looks like they are going away.

I have some 285gr 9.3mm bullets by Privi and they shoot very accurately in my CZ550. I even "sized" a dozen or so down to .358 diameter for my .35 Whelen's. To size them down I used a Lee cast bullet .358 sizing die and Lee "case sizing" lube. Believe me, no other lube will work as well (and I tried!) to go from .366 diameter to .358. I haven't shot any of these bullets as of yet, but plan to use the data I have on hand for 280gr loads - "starting loads", of course.
