Wish we had more varmints to blast around here. Just coyotes and a few wood chucks.

I just walked out of the house and had to turn around and get my camera. The sun wasn't up over the horizon yet, it is behind me in this view, and the moon not quite set. This is my "shooting lab" for the handgun stuff. I shoot the hogs on the back of the feeder pen, the tripod is just inside the brush behind the pen. Two of the three "moon light" lamps are already off because of the daylight.

On the right side of the photo is a brown "dot" where the land just starts to drop down off of a crest, immediately below the moon. That is a deer walking down to the feeder just along the edge of the brushline.

Did you see the moon eclipse this tonight? It was a total eclipse tonight, but over here we couldn't see it, it began shortly after moonset for us. Should have been visible on most parts of the Pacific and all Northern America.

I didn't see it. I think it was supposed to occur around 3 to 4 am in my area. I had a long day of work that ended at 1 am so I was sound asleep.
