Yep, what he said, add 2400 to that list. Wish I had all the 110 & 2400 back that I've
stuffed in 44Mag cases.
Can't speak to the parameters of the Desert Eagle, just be careful
you don beat it to death with big 110 loads.
H110 & the like are best for wringing every, little,
tiny bit of steam out of barn burner, ground pounders.
You can sure feel it in your hand, & unfortunately,
after a steady diet of these your handgun will feel it & show it.
Lots of great magnums powders out.

ditto on the use of AA#9 and A2400 for the "hotter" magnum rounds .... maybe not the "hottest" powders available, but completely reliable

Would reloading for a Desert Eagle be any different than a revolver or carbine? Never shot one, but have 3 revolvers, one single shot and a Puma in 44 Magnum...

well,it is fun to shoot, big heavy (4 pounds, unloaded) chunk of iron :D
the Deagle in 44mag is known to be picky on ammunition due to it is an gas loading system,
the load should have at least 1500 FPS better 1600 FPS Velocity,
like 240 gr FMJ Bullet, Accurat #9 18.8 - 21.3gr, 1500 FPS,

i used ammunition from Lax Ammunition special for Desert Eagle (so they say) and no problems at all,
i tried MagTech, 44mag FMJ, 240gr,and the Deagle won`t cycle,

if i find a good load i let you guys know,

The DE is going to have some gains over a revolver , it has a closed breach , no cylinder gap , and has to operate within a projectile/case inertia window to function the action . That would tend to place the loads in a window of the middle of the load window probably with a top half of the bullet weight choices .

That is right, a semi automatic have some gains over a revolver,
i have to say that the Deagle is new, i shot about 100 rounds,
i just checked the data sheet from the MagTech FMJ 44mag and found out the velocity is 1180 FPS,
i guess not enough for the Deagle,

the data sheet from Lax ammunition shows 1500 FPS and the gun works flawless,
lets see what else i find out,

for sure i appreciate the help and discussion , thanks :t

Don't worry about the English . Many of us with American as a first language can't spell or speak it well . It's all of the French , German , Olde English , Spanish , Italian , Portuguese , and Asian influence and additions that have become just another conversation part .
We have a pretty good translator on staff , in a manner of speaking .
