Cartridge OAL for defensive type handguns

Post by Steve »

I had a long winded thing written up but decided on the following line for the condensed version based on shooting I do and see others doing at the range.

I think practice is a lot more important than worrying about a couple thousandths cartridge OAL. When shooting fast you won't have a difference in the number of hits on the silhouette at 7 yards.

For all my semiautos I use the plunk teswith the specific bullet being used with that gun. It's easy to do and assures correct OAL.
An ignorant person is one who doesn't know what you have just found out.

When setting a job up for myself it must be Idiot Proof as well, as I am a bigger idiot than most people I know, and I prove it to myself everyday.
