Order myself a six cavity MP mold this morning, it's a clone of the H & G #68 200 gr. SWC. I shoot the Lee version a lot but who knows when a six cavity will every show up and I will have this one by the end of the week.

Nice looking bullet. I like the Lee SWC as well and also their 230 TC, both in my 1911. For 45 Colt I prefer the 230 RN (2R). Has anyone tried the Lee checked 158 SWC for 357?

I have the Lee 158 gr. SWC with gas check. I don't shoot it as much as I used to because I so many 38 cal. molds but it's always been a good shooting bullet for me in my Ruger BH.

Yup, same here with Lee, as well as an old Lyman single cav, 158gr GCSWC, don't recall mold # off hand.

Cast up some of the MP H&G #68 clones last weekend have them powder coated and size now and will be loading up some as soon as I got over this upper repository infection that I picked up last week. Here is a pic I took when they were finishing up in the toaster oven.

As a side note if the Lee six cavity version of the #68 although slightly different were available at the time I would have bought that mold instead. I have nothing bad to say about the MP mold and it cast excellent bullets but the Lee six cavity mold when available are hard to beat for the price and quality of the bullets they cast and I have several of those already.
