I had wondered the same thing considering my Lyman is the 49th...

I'm still using a Lyman 46th that a buddy gave me a few years ago .... I really need to update :D

I have the Lyman 44th edition as a pdf and paper back 49th edition. Also the Lee Modern Reloading Second edition.

You can get the Lyman #44 from here as well as others. http://www.castpics.net/LoadData/OM/default.html

Thanks for the link, 62Chevy

Somewhere in the last 3-4 years I had downloaded the Ideal No 38 manual as a pdf and printed it all to paper. Found the paper, but don't have a clue which computer the file was on. The other manuals on the link may just get printed for archival data now. :D

Ok... so I have Lee's 2nd Edition. I like this book because of all of the data. Someone told me make sure to cross reference and suggested Lyman's 49th. So I got it. Not as much data but a good second check. What do you use mainly and as a check?

The next thing I want get is the Lyman cast Bullet Handbook: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/867465 ... uctFinding

It is suppose to have more load data for cast bullets that the Lee and Lyman 49th don't have. All the powder companies have load data online but not for cast bullets. IIRC someone post all the links to online load data on this site.

I'm sure you have been there but the LASC site http://www.lasc.us/ has a TON of very useful info for casting that rivals the Lyman Cast Bullet manuals. Start with From Ingot to Target.

Well if you just looking for books on casting information then you might want to add these to you list.
Jacketed Performance With Cast Bullets by Veral Smith
RCBS Cast Bullet Manual #1
Cast Bullets For Beginner and Expert by Joe Brennan

Cast Pic has a further list of books here: http://www.castpics.net/subsite2/Genera ... 0books.pdf. Several of these are listed on Amazon and even one, Handloader’s Manual by Earl Naramore is in Kindle format.
