I had a couple primers flip when I first bought the new version, but I got used to the XP and like it. Compared to the old auto prime, it's better IMHO. I hand prime hand gun and rifle.

LArge Primer XR plastic plate ... does not connect flush with the rest of the XR. The Small Primer Does!
Email to Lee with picture showing the space plus picture of my fix to keep the lid down

Sent a new lid to me - same issue - so spring paper clip still being used! :!:

I tried one and ended up tossing it. For me it was probably the worst Lee product that I've purchased... well, there was the Zip Trim.

I went back to my old round Auto Prime and went about looking for a second new one. I learned that others feel the same as I. If a new unit shows up on eBay, it sells for a premium. I didn't mind the cost.

It's the only one I have ever used.( I have only been reloading metallic for less than a year) I've just been real careful with it. Is the Ergo Prime any better?

Many apologies! My comments are about the Ergo-Prime!
