Scale Table

This is the only scale that can never get out of adjustment. Sensitive and readable to 1/20 grain.

Nice idea.

I would only change one small thing: Only use three bolts as "legs". A three-legged table will never tilt, a four-legged will. And a three-legged is way easier to level out.

Good idea wish I'd thought of that. +1

I was thinking that as my ohaus1010 scale is set on a three leg base so that it can be zeroed by adjusting the single leg/ bolt.

My Safety Scale sits on a drop down shelf that is eye level. The shelf locks into place but I noticed placing the scale at one end of the shelf causes a slight difference in zero from the other end of the shelf. So I set the scale in the most likely location for use, used a Sharpie to outline the scale, and zeroed it with a Lyman Weight Check Set. Occasionally I will put everything away which means stowing the scale but I've never had it vary as long as it is returned to it's outline on the shelf.

I did something similar with my LEE safety scale. :D
When I built my bench, I had made sure it was level all along it's top surface.
After the configuration of presses and process flow was established, I marked the bench where the scale was to go. I denoted it as "Scale Parking". Everytime I use the scale, it gets zeroed. Haven't had an issue since the ritual was established.
