Small rifle powder through die

I don’t know if this is the proper place to post this but here goes . Has anyone had an issue with a small rifle powder through die not screwing in to the press far enough . I just received mine two days ago and when I set it up for lees instructions it’s only grabbing in the press by about 2 1/2 maybe three threads . I spent an hour and a half on the phone with the lead technician today and they’re going to send me a new die body but I was just wondering is anyone else has had this problem and if they have what has been the solution . PS I spent 20 years as a draftsman and quite familiar with how many threads are required to make Secure connection. And I could tell you three threads is an enough that guy should be protruding almost to the bottom of my Turret. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I’m using a Lee classic cast 4 hole turret press.
