Re: Red base Pro 1000
I bought it a couple of years ago, Lee listed a half dozen or so in their clearance items. Someone must have found them pushed to the back of a shelf. I love the oddball stuff, not much of that with Lee as they have done typically have studied a product against the market pretty durn good.

An ignorant person is one who doesn't know what you have just found out.
When setting a job up for myself it must be Idiot Proof as well, as I am a bigger idiot than most people I know, and I prove it to myself everyday.

Re: Red base Pro 1000
Thanks everyone for the replys, also, thanks to the guy with the Automator
Another Pro 1000 question. I've watched the You tube videos on in but would like
to know, How have you all handled the spent primer disposal with the Red base?
I'm not much into unbolting the press to clean up the mess..
Thanks in advance.

The easiest way I know of is to mount the press on a couple blocks leaving enough room underneath for a small tray to slide in and out. The tray on on your Super 600 shotgun press would work nicely. OR, you can drill a BIG hole in your bench top and install a container underneath by screwing the lid to a jar to the bottom of the bench. I used a Jif peanut butter bottle like that on one years ago. Course you have to drill a hole in the lid also....
