Mounting Presses

Post by BC17A »

Here's a quick show-n-tell on how I mounted my two single stage Lee presses. Since my loading bench is compact, I wanted the smaller press removable to make room for when I do high volume loading on the progressive. I fabricated a mount with four cut-off bolts that slip into the bench top and get locked down with a toggle clamp which is also removable. The setup is surprisingly strong and the press won't budge even when punching out .020" 50 cal gas checks. My "C" press is attached to a portable workbench using the same method.
