older o ring press

Post by mgbbob »

Hi folks, I have an older o press with just a shoot out the side for the primer. Is there a way to use the press to load new primers?

Thanks,
Bob

It sound like you have a Lee Reloader C-frame which doesn't have the slot in the frame and the ram for the primer arms. So, as said, the Ram Prime is the way to go.

It is a complete circle but only has an ejection port. How about the Lee Auto Prime II. I know they don't produce it anymore but it looks pretty good.

When upgraded with the RCBS bushings (see here for details), it is a great tool! It's a pitty they stopped making it.

You need to access the "full editor" via the "post reply" button, not the "fast reply" button.
150624_pic1.PNG
Then go down the page to the "upload attachment" tab, and click "choose files".
150624_pic2.PNG
You can also select multiple files from the same folder at once, so you don't have to do all the clicking for every single picture. Now click "add the file" to upload the file(s). If you like, you can also add a comment to the picture, that will be placed unter the picture in your post.
150624_pic3.PNG
You'll see a list of uploaded files, where you can still add the comment if you like, delete the file, or place it inline with your post. When you click "place inline", the picture will be placed within your post, right where the cursor was when you clicked the button. If you don't click the button at all, the picture will be placed at the end of your post.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Ebay has the auto Prime II listed here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEE-Auto-Prime- ... 23536c3c9f

If you go here: http://leeprecision.com/reloading-presses/single-stage/ tell us which one it looks like.

Just a suggestion.....

The post Fyodor made above with his tutorial on posting pictures would be a good "stickie" .... especially if another chapter was added concerning "resizing" photos to fit.

Not intending to hijack the topic of this thread, but couldn't help acknowledging Fyodor's excellent post.
