Lee Shooter

I had no idea this even existed and now it seems to be a bit out of date. I run on a Mac and she has a Win 7 laptop. I would love to know what I'm missing and am curious why Lee hasn't put out a more updated version since it says it needs "Windows Virtual Machine" to run on Win 7.

Is anyone running this on Win 7 with any success?

I have it on my laptop running Windows 7 and it operates without issue. I never downloaded anything other than install it on my computer. All the features function perfectly

It is a simple program but it has all the right features and bunch of calculators. I guess it has been discontinued and that is a shame as it does have enough features that for the 10 bucks it has been selling for it is not worth fiddling with spreadsheets plus it has component databases for the pull down menu.

What I wish they would do is take all take all that this program offers and my a mobile app out of it. Something like this with the component databases would be very nice.

What does it actually do?

Is it just a database for your handloads, or is it more?

It is also and ballistic table generator. I don't think it has ever been available as a download, need the CD to install.

I have never used one and am interested.
First ,are they worth it for a casual shooter?
Second, Is it written in a language a 77 year old flunky can understand?

I can be a flunky too.
That being said, I've used it in the past and have enjoyed it.
It's installed on an older unit with XP. I've been meaning to fire it up............
