Re: Friend Wants To Reload ~ Starting Setup
I bought the Classic Turret Kit because it had everything I needed to get started including the Lee Manual that has been a life saver.

A good manual is a definite need. Lee really has their set up to walk people through it.

Re: Friend Wants To Reload ~ Starting Setup
I visited with the fellow concerning this endeavour again this afternoon. He pretty much wants to do it all with additional cartridges being loaded as time goes on. He also said for the first two cartridges, the 30-30 Win and 45 ACP, he would like to keep it at $500. Also would like to be able to prime on and off the press and the same with charging cases. With that said, it is pretty easy as just about everything will fit within those confines. Here is the list....
He can decide where to buy it. In that he has not ordered from MidwayUSA before, he can get an additional $20 coupon with his account setup by spliting the order. They also have a $35 off on $350 for a total of $55 off.

Wow a discount at Midway. I never got one last year when I first singed up. And their shipping is 12 bucks less than Titans another WoW. Titan has always been cheaper on shipping in the past as I always did what you are doing except now I add FSreloading in the fray.

I suspect the shipping is a product of where they are located vs. your location. Titan is in WI vs. MidwayUSA in MO, we are in south Texas (basically twice as far).
I use Midway Coupons all the time. I use retailmenot: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/midwayusa.com

Thanks for the link I'll see if I can't use it next time. You are right about shipping cost but both are about equal distance from me.

Just checked and Midway is about 65 miles further than Titan from my home.

What really matters is the zip chart zones; theirs to yours: http://postcalc.usps.gov/zonecharts/62chevy wrote:Just checked and Midway is about 65 miles further than Titan from my home.
Midway is a zone closer to us.

Yes and UPS has one too. It's been 15 years since I saw one so not sure if it's the same as the post office or their own. Ups ground from Midway will take 2 days and from Titan 3 days, UPS says it will take 5 days on any ground shipment. But you are right RD I could be in a different zone for Midway than Titan.

Have you looked at Amazon? They have a whole lot of Lee items, plus if you have prime it's free shipping.
