Steve, I really like that rifle. You will do fine with that glass kit.
Just take your time, understand it fully & you will be OK.

Didn't put the pillars in it, but got out to shoot today. Rifle shoots to point of aim at 100 yards with my best load. 150 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip. I just love the feeling when that old rifle goes off. The best I could do with my part was 3/4" groups. (It's just awesome to shoot this thing.) I was in the hospital 4 times this year, it shows in my shooting, but starting to get it back.

3/4 inch groups is better than combat accurate. Your doing very well. More trigger time may be all you need to tighten the group more.
