Yeap, I'm a nut, but for $175 I could not pass up this like new smoothbore slug gun. 24" barrel with rifle sights, 3" chamber, and a 2-shot magazine. I wanted a smoothbore, other than my Mossberg 500, for comparing slug performance with My Marlin 512.

I always was interested in bolt action shotguns ever since I hunted with a guy who used a 10 gauge Marlin "Goose" gun. Of course 10 gauge sounded scary at the time.

Yeah, Marlin Goose Guns were common here when I was a kid. We did a lot of goose hunting on the coast near Corpus Christi.Macd wrote:I always was interested in bolt action shotguns ever since I hunted with a guy who used a 10 gauge Marlin "Goose" gun. Of course 10 gauge sounded scary at the time.
