Added LED light

Purchased a 4" LED tape light strip and switch from 1000bulbs.com, and used a 12V power supply I had. Cut the strip in half so everything fit good. 3 lights shining down into the case is plenty bright. Parts were around $3, cost more for shipping than parts, so I bought spare parts also.

I changes my "sanctuary" to LED lighting. I have both on press LEDs as well as swivel/adjustable arm LED lights on my benches. At my age there is never enough light.

I'm the same way, seems like there can't be not enough light.

The LED bulbs are really a white light and cost much less to operate. In my kitchen the ceiling fixture used 5 50 watt flood lights (250 Watt). The LED putting out the same lumens (seems like more with the white light). These 5 new lights only use 5 watts apiece. (225 watts less.)

The only blasters I have are on my vent hood. Sure they're bright. You can tell by the heat. I put stuff on my glass top stove with the lights on high to dry items. Heat is a major indicator of inefficiency so ....

I have LEDs under cabinet lights. That helps. Besides my three way reading lamps and the bathroom vanities, my entire house is fluorescent for cost of operation savings.

I have not yet begun to spring for the premium price LED hardware costs for my interior home lighting. I might later.
