Re: Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure and Fix.
Someone on here was complaining about the way it worked on the turret press having to reset the powder measure every time so the 'Fix'. Sorry if that is not a fix.

Re: Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure and Fix.
The chain reset should be great on a loadmaster. When I was using the Lee powder measures on the Loadmaster I preferred having the positive reset of the chain instead of the spring return system that some people use.
When I used to load on the turret press I had occasional rounds with no powder because my measures stuck in the open position. That can't happen with the chain on the Loadmaster. If it did the chain would break, that would be hard to miss.

Re: Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure and Fix.
I'm sorry but that button reset has to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard of in my reloading learning so far to date. It's a sure recipe for a squib which I feel is actually worse than a double charge because of the blockage forcing everything in all the directions it's not supposed to go. A double charge is going to blow the chamber and gun apart but pressure can still go forwards as well. Add to this a double charge is usually easier to see than missing a charge. You have to use a very low volume load in a very large case to not be able to see any difference. Top this all off with new reloaders tend to go with what they can afford and this gear is a big time budget buster and yet it's setup from the start to lock up each time. It's just odd.

FYI, there are instructions that come with it that show you how to disable the reset button.

Re: Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure and Fix.
FortuneCookie45LC tested the Auto Drum on every press he had to give it a good shack down. So with what he has done and what members have reported on here This Auto Drum Powder Measure should be the goto for making ammo.
