Forgotten treasures!
As a firearms enthusiast and handloader, I've been known to set things aside for another time.
Also, there's been those times where the reloading bench has become too cluttered and whole groups of items are put into bags, boxes or just tucked away onto a shelf, in an effort to clear the space and run a press or two.
It's the above scenarios that create a by-product of enjoyment for me. When I'm searching for one particular item and I have to look in a bag or box or whatever and rediscover another item!
It's just like Christmas!
I've found such treasures as loaded ammunition, a large quantity of range brass and even a LEE Press!
What are some of the items you've found?

Re: Forgotten treasures!
The first thing that comes to mind are small firearm parts that I lost during an assembly and had to order to get the firearm back together! The find was added to my spares!

Re: Forgotten treasures!
Next time somebody'll clean up the roof and drain pipes, he'll find a loaded .38spl round. A friend gave me some ammo, but some didn't have powder in them. So I planned to take them apart and reuse the components, but he put such a strong crimp on them, that the cinetic bullet puller didn't work on them. Instead the round rebounced out of the bullet puller backwards, through the open window, onto the roof...
Unfortunately I did never re-find anything nice. Most probably, because I never lived more than 5 years in one place, and didn't have time to loose anything

Re: Forgotten treasures!
I usually just find lint, dust bunnies and the occasional rusty paper clip

Re: Forgotten treasures!
I have to agree with RD. For me it's nothing but
gun parts... Usually, the almost microscopic firing
pin & plunger springs out of some small frame revolvers.
Keep some extras on hand now LOL.

I'm too new to reloading to have any surprises. Maybe after years of reloading and stuffing and stuffing more stuff on my reloading area. But great topic!
