Listing Of Lee Loaders
Does anyone know if there is a comprehensive listing of all the calibers and variations (target shooting type, etc.) of Lee loaders that have been made since the beginning?
I know Ranch Dog's post of the catalog page has a lot of them.

I don't think that even Lee has kept a complete listing of the cartridges offered nor the cartridges that were cut on special order.

Re: Listing Of Lee Loaders
Greetings
I would think with the "old" custom shop way they did these dies that any and near all calibers before 1990 were done by them IF they would fit within the confines of the standard die body.
Has anyone seen any die bodies that are "extremely long" for cartriges like the older African flanged cartriges ? Some of those cases have to be 4.5 inches long and longer.

Check out this old piece of Lee memorabilia. While trying to make some room for more stuff, I was straightening up some of my shelves and unearthed this baby. It's 30-06.

That primer seater (?) looks interesting... in the modern loader it's not included any more. You now seat the primer with a hammer (Fyodor -> <- Safety glasses)

I started out with the type you are referring to Fyodor. I traded that first one and a few bucks to a fellow for this one. I wish I still had my original one too, the primers used to scare the crap out of me when they went off seating it with the hammer.Fyodor wrote:That primer seater (?) looks interesting... in the modern loader it's not included any more. From a different thread on this forum I found this loader to be even older than my original. I don't actually remember using this one to load with, I had upgraded to a turret press by the time I got this.
I can still remember my knees were actually shaking when I fired the first round I reloaded. The rifle was sold by sears as a Ted Williams sporting rifle. It is a bolt action much like the Winchester 70 and was manufactured by Winchester. I still enjoy shooting that rifle.

Good evening
That is a well kept very nice reloading rig. I bought my first back about 1967 for a caliber 32 Win Special and I do not remember that nice primner tool.

Re: Listing Of Lee Loaders
An old advertisement mentions 110 different calibers in the Lee Loaders. Im sure more have been added since this ad. ( No idea when the advertisement is from.)

380 auto, cool need to keep an eye out for one of those. Sometimes you just feel like whacking something.
