Old Lee item Automatic Primer Pocket Cleaner
I recently bought a few Lee Loaders off of KSL and the guy threw in a few extras, one of which is the Lee Automatic Primer Pocket Cleaner. The other item from Lee Custom Engineering was the 30 cal Decapper and base for G.I. Brass. The newer item that he included is from Lee Precision, the Lee Bullet Lubrication & Resizing Kit. It even still has the 2 ounces of Hodgdon's Alox bullet lube. The sizer is 357 (left side) and works with a hammer. The cookie cutter is on the right side. Kind of wish it were for the 358 size.

Nice find! The aluminum cookie cutter should be easy to lap out to your desired diameter. Coat some bullet with lapping compound rather than lube and start pushing them through. You might need to start with .357" bullets.

Re: Old Lee item Automatic Primer Pocket Cleaner
Cool! I got my start lubing/sizing cast bullets with a kit like the one pictured. Mine had a red wax lube and I used it for several months before I made my own cookie cutters and used a Lee sizing die kit. I vaguely remember the "automatic" primer pocket cleaner. It worked on the same principle as a Yankee Screwdriver, an innovative design. I wonder if it would be accepted today with all the new reloaders?

So, how does the primer pocket cleaner work?

The cleaning brush is mounted on a "twisted" rod, with the bell having a square hole. When the bell is pushed upwards, the brush turns.

Good idea, but I guess not in that it did not survive.
