Re: What Rifle Reloading Did You Do Today?
My Lake City brass for my .223 finally started getting sloppy primer pockets, so today I am preparing 80 rounds of Winchester brass to take its place.
I only use 50 rounds, the extra thirty are there to replace brass that develop loose primer pockets or some other problem. It's range brass, so some of it will last longer than the others.
By the time I got them all trimmed and chamfered, I had quite a collection of brass shavings.

Now I have to take care of the crimped primer pockets, clean the brass one more time and it will be ready to go.

Yesterday got to range to test the reworked 223 loads. The small base die took care of the problem. Not a single hick up even when I tried.

Yes a Lyman Case Prep Multi tool. 50 cases were easy as pie with no hand cramps like when I used the Lee Chafer tool.

Re: What Rifle Reloading Did You Do Today?
Got an ongoing bought of case prep on military 5.56mm brass. Right now I'm sizing and decapping.
I've made up a small amount of RD's Lee Lube cut with alcohol. I've only stuck two cases so far....one I had to take the die to work with me to free. I'm doing something wrong....
