That is sexy, and looks like its much easier to clean than a raven was.

I like it because of the grip, it was made for a guy's grip. It does have the tip barrel for loading and cleaning.akuser47 wrote:That is sexy, and looks like its much easier to clean than a raven was.

Buddy's Raven was nickel. Got nearly three bills for it. Looked like it was a $50 piece to me.

I ran 175 45 Schofield through size and decaping dies . There are 150 Starline and 25 oddball cases . I'm thinking about cutting the oddballs down to 45 Cowboy and using them like Auto Rim .

Primed 200 357 mag cases. Starting load development for the new '92. Hope to get some both it and the Black Hawk can agree on.

Dug out some old (91 or 92) Norma nickle to load. Lost one while expanding the mouths and 7 more when seating bullets (Penn 180 .358). So this bunch will retire after this shooting. Probably a lot of these cases are going to follow as they all have any where from 4 to 6 firings with pretty stout loads from the IHMSA days. It will be interesting to see how these fair.
Also put a short ladder together with Hornady 180 grn xtps hp and H110 in new old stock Remington cases.. Range tomorrow, I hope and then deer stand Thursday and Friday.

Re: What Handgun Reloading Did You Do Today?
Yesterday I spent half a day in my reloading room. I first needed to rebuild the carrier for my .38spl setup on my pro1000, I accidentally bent it when forcing a non cooperative primer in an S&B case...
I ended up making 300 .38spl Blackpowder loads and 300 .38spl TrailBoss loads. After that, my supplies on 130 gr lubed bullets ran out, so I readjusted the turret for blackpowder loads and cranked out another 45 rounds with my new 158 gr bullet (more grease will hopefully reduce the hard crust just before the muzzle of my 1866 carbine).
Unfortunately I still couldn't adjust that one pro AutoDisk to not reset automatically, which caused another spillage of perfectly good blackpowder. I have 5 of those measures on use, and only one will reset immediately when lowering the ram even e little bit. One double charge trows me back about 15 minutes to disassemble the carrier and clean everything out. Powder in the priming system will cause trouble.
Still, it was a pretty productive day.
Now all I need is some more press time to develop my loads for .44-40 in TrailBoss and blackpowder.
Looking forward to that!

Over the weekend it was about 50 357 SIG with some Longshot powder, About a dozen (samples) 45 ACP with BE86 (hoping for good things again!) and 100 10 mm with Longshot.
I'm likin' this Longshot powder!
