I use a spreadsheet database in Open Office to keep my loading data in. I originally started it on my first computer in Lotus 123, then switched to Microsoft Office on the next two computers. When I got this one, I just installed the free Open Office and switched it all over to that. I use a separate spreadsheet for each caliber that I load for.

My sheets will calculate muzzle energy and Taylor Knockdown factor once you put in bullet diameter, weight and velocity. I keep back up copies on a portable hard drive in case my computer bites the dust.

Sure, no problem. Here's a partial on my 357 Mag sheet for Microsoft Office. I left some data in there to show how it's set up.

I looked at the Open Office sheet and apparently my calculations didn't translate well in the changeover from MS Office. Guess I need to redo them.

I downloaded a freeware app about 2 years ago called Reloaders Reference that was good but had some bugs and things I didn't need. So I basically wrote another screen start up added some table for my needs as well as some reports using parts of the original program RRv93x74r. When I get a chance I will make a version with none of my data in it and up loaded here if I can. It is rather large however especially with attached gun manuals and targets sheets you can print out.

I wrote another Excel spreadsheet to calculate Lee's Pressure and Velocity factors from the Lee loading manual, 1st. Ed. The numbers in rows 2 , etc. are placeholders and are to be replaced with your own values.

Okay, what the heck is a "Spreadsheet Database?" That's like driving a Ford Chevy into town for Firewood Groceries.

You're using a spreadsheet, not a database. [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

And I've spent way too many decades in computers and software...
