New guy from IL
Hey everybody! I'm new to the forum but not to reloading. I'm a lifetime firearm owner and a 10 year reloader. I also shoot bullseye competitively. I reload over 10-15k 38 specials per year alone. I also reload 45acp, 45 Colt, 357mag, 40 S&W, 9mm, and 380 auto.
My first press was one of the 25 dollar lee "C" presses. Then I moved up to a Turret press. My turret has seen an easy 150k rounds. Finally a spring let go in the primer setup. I decided to say the heck with it and ordered a Pro 1000 about two weeks ago. Without a doubt the best decision of my reloading career. Now I load all small primer cartridges on it and large primer on the turret.
I guess that sums it up, lol. Look forward to some good conversation!!

Re: New guy from IL
Herzlich willkommen from Germany!
I'm still missing a classic turret, because of space contraints. But I also own one of those little 25.00USD Reloader presses and a pro1000. I actually have two carriers for it for large and small primers. Changing them is a matter of seconds... after I ordered another indexing rod, because for some reason they don't send one with the carriers.
