Smelted My First Today!

Yep, I'm happy!!! Smelted my first today, 65# of nice, clean, WW ingots.
Thank's to my good friend & our forum buddy Daboone, he had Lisa & I over for the morning,
let me use his gear, & ingot mold, I don't know how many muffin tin ingots I poured
for Dan, (it was A lot, to me anyway?) but I came home with 65# of Lyman ingots!!!
For sure more weight than I took in with me, Thank's Dan, I learned a lot,
& had a great morning with a great friend, & Lisa loved playing with
Dan's pooch all morning. Hardness tester, more lead,, more molds??? what else can I
think of??? LMAO Hi, I'm Larry, & I'm addicted to the silver stream???

Careful with that smelting and buying moulds. ......next thing ya know you'll have 1000# piled up and a mould for every gun or 3-2.

I don't know Larry not seeing any pictures, lol. Congrats you are hooked now. If the hunt for lead doesn't get ya the hunt for pewter will. look at it this way it will keep you out of the bars.

The only reason I had Larry over was to get him to do the dirty work for me. Besides there are very few folks who will put up with my ornery ugly dog ......or me.

Larry remember to wash your hands. Not so much because of the dross from smelting but that mean rotten dog stinks. LOL. The only reason Lisa like the dog is because she's learn to put up with you and me.
