Improved Mounting of the Auto Disk Hopper
I find the screws that hold the hopper in place on the Auto Disk to be inconvenient at best. I really like the brass nuts used for the same purpose on the Auto Disk Pro, so I decided to convert the Auto Disk mounting system.
I bought two of the brass nuts (AD3397) and two of the mounting screws (FA3407) from Lee. I cut the head off of the mounting screws and threaded them into the hopper. Since the original screws were sheet metal screw threaded, there is some jamming when the machine screws are threaded in which helps hold them in place, and a little Loctite is also useful. Now it mounts like the Pro hopper and the brass nuts hold it in place. I find it easier to set the tension so the ACB moves smoothly using the nuts rather than the old screws and a screwdriver.

Great, yet simple mod! Those thumb screws will make things so much more comfortable to do a changeover.
Yah, a bunch of older guys in basements and garages with guns, presses, powder and lead need their pictures...
