Both men are making good ammo.Steve wrote:Well I got one friend on a Clasic Turret and one went with the Dillon 550. Big money difference. It will be interesting to see how they both progress.
The fellow with the classic turret said he really likes it, but had a little primer problem.
The fellow with the Dillon 550 also likes it. He forgot to press back on the lever to seat some primers. He doesn't like the cost of change over. I have him using Lee dies.
Both are nice presses, The Dillon is faster but cost a lot more. Both men will develop a technique and have a ball hand loading.
I got a few free breakfast out of helping them, plus got 2 more places to hang out and talk hand loading. End of story.
