Only one cat at a time for me . LOL. I understand, mechanics
& fiddling are also my strong points, & I love it. I hope things
go well, progressives have always fascinated me.

Congrats to the nice press!

Despite what people say, it does work, if taken care of. But that's the same with every other brand. Have you seen the LoadMasterVideos web page already? Very interesting tips and tricks.

Everyone says the same thing about pro1000s but I have had nothing but perfection out of mine. Priming system works just like it should.

That is good to hear and most people only say something when things don't work right. Just wondering if you clean the priming system or have never cleaned it.

I do clean it regularly, but actually didn't ever have problems with it even when dirty. If you keep enough primers in the chute, it's fine. Most problems I encounter (pro1000) is indexing when there's dirt under the shellplate.

Before I loaded my first round I took a piece of notebook paper and made a cover for the primer chute to keep spilled powder out. Took five minutes tops.

I've changed shellplates a few times but is haven't taken the carrier off or cleaned inside it since, nor have I cleaned the primer chute. I've loaded about 10k since I got it.

That is good to hear. I don't have a Load Master or a Pro 1000 so was just asking questions in case I change my mind an buy one.

Can you show a picture of your modification?
