Re: Lee Classic Turret Press modifications
I've only reloaded just over 2000 rounds and don't feel comfortable just letting the finished round dropping into a bin.

Dropping into the bin is absolutely OK. You can buy bulk ammo in boxes without trays or stuff, they are handled far more rough than just this little drop of a few inches.
@ RD:
Wasn't it here in the forum, where someone made two reverse shafts and collars, one with one case kicker, and one with four kickers and no indexing? The latter was used for depriming at great speeds. Couldn't find the post again, but am sure that I read it somewhere.

Re: Lee Classic Turret Press modifications
My order has been placed. I went ahead and also ordered the quick change system as well. I have high hopes for that to start saving bench space. Now I just need to order a big box of free time.

It's not the dropping it's the need to inspect each round making sure each primer and boolit are seated properly. I used to weigh each powder charge then went to every fifth round then tenth and now just the very first five and as long as powder is in the case then all is good.
